1. Company Information

Natalia Portugalia Tours is a licensed Portuguese Tourism Animation Company (RNAAT 1114/2023), operating under Portuguese tourism legislation.

The company holds mandatory Civil Liability and Personal Accident insurance in accordance with Portuguese law.

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after:

Written confirmation (email or message), and
Payment of a 20% deposit.

Availability is not guaranteed until the deposit is received.

3. Payments

Standard deposit: 20%.
Remaining balance due 1–3 days before the tour, depending on the product.
For last-minute bookings, full payment may be required at the time of booking.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the reservation.

4. Cancellation Policy

By the Client:

More than 14 days before the tour: Full refund (minus any non-refundable third-party costs, if applicable).
7–14 days before the tour: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days before the tour: Non-refundable.

Customized tours, premium experiences, and bookings involving prepaid suppliers may be partially or fully non-refundable.

By the Company:

Natalia Portugalia Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to:

Safety concerns
Severe weather conditions
Road closures
Government restrictions
Force majeure events

In such cases, alternative dates or solutions will be offered whenever possible. Force majeure does not create liability for compensation beyond payments received.

5. Third-Party Suppliers

The company may use:

Subcontracted licensed guides
Independent transportation providers
Wineries, restaurants, workshops, venues, and other partners

While partners are carefully selected, Natalia Portugalia Tours is not liable for acts, omissions, delays, service failures, or incidents caused by independent third parties.

When third-party transport is used, liability rests with the respective provider and their insurance coverage.

6. Transportation

Clients must comply with all safety regulations during transportation.

The company is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, strikes, or issues beyond its control.

7. Hiking & Outdoor Activities – Assumption of Risk

Participation in hiking, coastal walks, and outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Uneven terrain
Slippery surfaces
Cliffs and elevation changes
Wildlife
Sudden weather changes

By booking, clients confirm that:

They are physically capable of participating.
They assume personal responsibility for their health and physical condition.
They will wear appropriate footwear and follow guide instructions at all times.

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the activity without refund.

The company is not responsible for injuries resulting from natural terrain conditions or failure to follow instructions.

8. Children & Minors

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Parents or legal guardians assume full responsibility for minors during the activity.

The company is not responsible for injuries resulting from lack of supervision by accompanying adults.

9. Pets Policy

Natalia Portugalia Tours is pet-friendly upon prior agreement.

Participation with pets is subject to the following conditions:

The pet must remain under the owner’s full supervision at all times.
Pets must be kept on a leash during the tour, particularly in public areas, near roads, cliffs, wineries, restaurants, natural reserves, and uneven terrain.
The owner is solely responsible for the safety, behavior, and well-being of the animal.
The owner is fully liable for any damage, injury, or disturbance caused by the pet to third parties, guides, vehicles, venues, wildlife, or other participants.

Participation with pets may be restricted or refused on certain routes or locations due to terrain difficulty, safety risks, environmental regulations, or venue policies.

Natalia Portugalia Tours assumes no responsibility for injury, loss, illness, or death of any pet during the activity.

The company reserves the right to refuse participation or discontinue the tour if the animal presents a safety risk.

10. Personal Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

Arriving on time
Providing accurate personal information
Informing the company of medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations
Safeguarding personal belongings

Missed tours due to flight delays, traffic, or personal circumstances are non-refundable.

11. Alcohol Consumption

On wine tours and gastronomic experiences, clients are expected to consume alcohol responsibly.

The company reserves the right to refuse service or terminate participation without refund in cases of intoxication, unsafe behavior, or disruption.

12. Insurance

Natalia Portugalia Tours maintains mandatory Civil Liability and Personal Accident insurance as required by Portuguese law.

Coverage is limited to the amounts defined in the applicable insurance policies.

13. Limitation of Liability

The company’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific tour.

Natalia Portugalia Tours is not liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses
Missed flights or connections
Emotional distress
Business interruption
Third-party acts beyond its control

14. Photography & Media

During tours, photographs and short videos may occasionally be taken for documentation and promotional purposes.

Natalia Portugalia Tours will only publish identifiable images of clients on social media, website, or marketing materials after receiving prior consent.

If a client does not wish to appear in photos or videos, they must inform the guide at the beginning of the activity.

The company reserves the right to use non-identifiable images (such as landscapes, background scenes, or group shots where individuals are not clearly identifiable) for promotional purposes.

Clients who voluntarily share photos taken during the tour and tag the company grant permission for resharing such content.
