The trail constantly hugs the coast, providing awe-inspiring views of the Atlantic Ocean, striking remote beaches, and even natural pools concealed within the rocks, shielded from the powerful western waves. During the hike, you will have the opportunity to explore the indigenous vegetation and even catch sight of the native wildlife inhabiting the Arrábida Natural Park. One of the most exhilarating features of the hike is the opportunity to marvel at the fossilized footprints of dinosaurs at Cabo Espichel. Sitting close to ancient fossils and relishing the mesmerizing panorama of the boundless Atlantic Ocean and The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Espichel Cape, we will indulge in delectable snacks made from local produce.
